It is very wrong to point out that, yes, they are all of those things and need to reassess their life choices.
The appropriate answer is, apparently, to disagree and throw out ridiculous untrue compliments no matter how much it may feed into their delusions.

that’s not too uncommon! It can be produced by a “company” but sold to a network. Buffy was produced by 20th Century/Fox but shown on the WB (and later UPN). Veronica Mars was produced by CBS, shown on UPN.
